DreamFever
Nancy and I, with Cocoa and Piper(our two cats) and Captains Chris and Alyse Caldwell (training Captains) will begin the first portion of "OUR" Americas great waterway loop of the Eastern United States on February 17, 2010. We will start at St. Petersburg, FL. Dream Fever is a 47 foot DeFever POC.
This is the helm, nice and large, plenty of seating for the two of us, Piper and Cocoa lay where ever they want. Cocoa & Nancy always want the helm
Leaving St. Petersburg FL
Leaving St. Petersburg FL heading to Fort Myers FL to the Caloosahatchee River. Here we will cross Lake Okeechobee. For the next week, Nancy and I will be in training with Captains Chris & Alyse Caldwell. They are training us in all things concerned with extended cruising. We will be not only be learning our boat, but we will be learning navigation, weather, boat handling, and boat maintenance. First day we are up before the oxygen is even turned on. We are performing engine checks, reviewing charts, and checking weather. All before the sun is up. I am tired already. Probably won't get to use this great salon today. First leg of trip leaving on February 16 left St Petersburg, FL, crossing Lake Okeechobee and headed to Ft. Pierce, FL. We will stay in Ft. Pierce until April 7, having work done for extended cruising on the boat and waiting for warmer weather North.
Comfortable mid level Salon for relaxing and tv watching
