Kingston Ontario

We arrived in Kingston, Ontario on July the 15th after crossing Lake Ontario. The pictures show first the Military Training Center where training of Canadian Army, Navy, and Air Force personnel are trained. The second photo is of the Kingston court house. The remaining photos are of the Tourist Center and park. We found a Texas Lone Star Grill in Kingstone, Ontario. It don't figure. They kinda looked like Texans, but they talked funny. All of these are near the Confederation Basin Marina where we stayed. The nice part of staying in marinas near downtown is that everything is within walking distance. Except that we discovered that we did not have an electronic chart for the chart plotter for the section of Canada we were traveling. We found out that West Marina had the chip we needed, so I unloaded my bicycle and rode the 5 miles to buy the chip. Sometimes you find that not everything is not right downtown. You can take a taxi ride, but that takes the adventure out of the adventure. We will leave Sunday morning the 18th for Picton, Ontario on our way to Trenton. We will anchor out that night and then continue to Trenton.
