Chesapeake Baltimore

We arrived at Baltimore early afternoon tied up, checked in at the marina office. This marina is in the downtown inner harbor. This allowed us the rest of the day to explore the dockside resturants and stores. We made plans to go to the National Aquarium the next morning. This would take an entire day to walk through and then attend the dolphin show and the Ultimate 4D Experience. This movie was interactive with your seat jabbing you during the Shark attack, and spraying water during the whale blow. It scared some and entertained others. We took the water taxi throughout the waterways just for the ride. We found an old friend Hamburger Joint we had not seen since Ft. Lauderdale, FL. It is called "Five Guys". This is the best Hamburger and Fries I have ever eaten. Well it is time to say goodbye to Baltimore. We will make a hard run up the Chesapeake, through the C&D Canal, down the Delaware River into Cape May. This will take us about 12 hours, but must go while weather is good. This will stage us for the long run outside to Sandy Hook. This run will be entirely in the Atlantic Ocean and will take us about 13 hours.
